National Stakeholders Consultation on Regulatory and Market Framework Conditions for Energy Storage

Target countries analysis and recommendations

The project investigates in each target country the effect of the regulatory and market framework conditions on the development of new and operation of existing energy storage facilities. The existing market mechanisms and the regulations are scrutinised identifying possible barriers.

A wide consultation process with the key actors, including an on-line questionnaire and a workshop, has started in the different countries. The results of this process will feed into a report including recommendations for improvements.
